The Meaning of AEEN
One name. Three languages. Two eyes.
In Urdu, عین (Ain) is a letter of huroof-e-tahajji, the Urdu alphabet — that's AEEN's first identity. That same letter also opens عینک (Aeenak), the Urdu word for glasses, which is where the connection to what we make comes in.
In Arabic, عين (Ain) means "eye" — the very thing every product we make exists for. It's also where our values come from: our Lifetime Return Policy on every product follows the Sunnah-inspired values of honest, fair trade.
In English, we spell it AEEN — with two E's, for two eyes — because AEEN is a digital-first, e-commerce brand built to be found, read and trusted in the language of the web.
